is it ok to run these on a street car with mufflers any pros or cons? i got a new set of tom yancer breathers with all the hoses and fittings for just about nothing and would like to use them if possible, any thoughts??

Depends on where the mufflers are mounted and what kind they are. If they create backpressure it could make more crankcase pressure. A buddy had evacs on his BB nova with 1 chamber flowmasters mounted about 3 ft after the header collector and it kept blowing the dipstick out of the motor. Took the mufflers off and it stopped.

won't work right with any muffler you'll just clog them with oil or get no vacuum at all anyway Vacuum pump is the only way to go for vacuum, or dry sump of course. even if running straight headers and an evac system you still will only pull around 3-5 inches and that's if you have the fitting in the perfect spot on the collectors, you need 12-13 with a wet-sump system.
