Starting point for coil rate on balkhaved 79 camaro with sb 3000 #'s wet with driver running 28 x 10.5 et drags and 4.56 gear, 5000 coan converter. Was thinking 150/175# range. What do you guy's think? "slow" Moe

Those cars seem to be very nose heavy, even with small blocks, and even if the car is kind of light. I would start in the 130-150 range. I don't feel you will need more than that. 150 to me is still kind of stiff. Every car will want something different so I don't think you will find the perfect spring right off the bat, but 130 will be a good place to start.
