Building a new combination, real basic high compression 454...should be 13.25 to 1 static compression, factory iron heads, 3500 lbs race weight stock suspension car. Will be a N/A setup. Previous combination was a 93 octane pump deal, so it's beena long time since I've bought any race fuel.
Locally, the most available fuel is Turbo Blue standard. This is what I guess I would consider a baseline fuel in terms of cost and availability.
I local speed shop is taking pre-season orders for VP fuel. I have to order this fuel now as most of there inventory will be presold. If I run out, I may not be able to get more further into the season. It looks like in VP, either the VP110 or the C12 would be possible choices.
What might you folks recommend? Is there any ET to be found in a combination like mine just in a simple change from Turbo Blue to VP C12? or similar?
Any other things with respect to fuel selection I need to take into consideration?
thanks for any input Todd

Is it going to be all motor? Any spray? If just motor, then I'd go with at least C12, maybe C14. If you spray, go with C16.
I wouldn't even use Turbo Blue unless I just needed gas to run the car mild.
