Anyway to make these parts work?

pistons -7011P forged(12:1 cpmp with 106 cc heads)
crank - 6223 forged 427
heads oval - 336781

The shortblock used to have the closed chamber rectangular ports.I wonder if its possible to bolt on the open chamber ovals (premium gas) without having to grind the pistons.

I guess the open ovals should fit as long as the dome matches the chambers..maybe

You will need to check for clearance at the edges of the pistons where they come up pretty straight but it is normally not a big deal running closed pistons in open heads.
You might have to "roll" the edges of the domes a bit but as I recall it ain't much
Just set the head on without a gasket & if it clears you are good to go with a .039 type gasket,,
