Don't buy anything Aerospace!!!!!! I have never heard anything good about anything they have! Even from licensed dealers, they have nothing but trouble with them. Brake, pumps, everything.
I heard a bunch of good stuff from people about GZ's stuff so bought one of them. I haven't had any trouble with it. I even sell them on the side, if you end up interested in getting one, just let me know.
Don't know about a preoiler, but would imagine they would be a good idea.

stroked TA, My son has an Aerospace vacuum pump and hasn't had any problems with it. He also put a vacuum limiting devise on at the same time and set it at 12 inches so as not to starve the valve guides. It made 26 additional H.P. on the dynojet after the pump. 646 to 672 RWHP. Admittedly it is only about six months old but so far, so good.

I know, Harold, I'm sure they have had some good ones come out of the plant, but from the most part I haven't heard much good about them. From metal shavings being inside the pumps, the wipers being untrue and brake calipers that aren't even finished all the way, to warped rotors right out of the box.
Just not worth the chance of playing russian roulette with these expensive motors, you know.
I never dynoed mine afterwards, but felt a difference and could tell the combustion process was a lot cleaner. I have a vacuum regulator in my valvecover too, set at 12 inches.
I'm just voicing my opinion and telling what I have heard from at least 3 dealers of Aerospace stuff.
There were numerous posts about their brakes a few years ago and the fastest street car site. Annette Summers came out to defend them, but that was about it.

I have had great success with aerospace componets vacuum pumps and their brakes. They got alot of bad press, maybe even self inflicted but they have great products and the service is getting better. While we are on the subject of bad press, I was going to go with a Moroso pump, but their service after the sale SUCKS. And I will avoid them like the plague at all cost. Aerospace stuff works great and I will continue to use them in the future.
