I have a 379ci small block chevy 4.155 bore 3.50" stroke 6" rods with 13.48 Compression. I am currently running a Super Victor intake with a 830 Holley. The Cam is a Comp Cams 306S Solid Lifter Flat tappet with 260* Duration at .050 and .555 lift int &exh. My heads are Trick Flow 195 Runner 62cc Chambers thay have been shaved .020, the ports are completely stock. I have this in a 2720 Lb S10 and has run 6.52@104 in the eighth with a 1.38 Sixty foot. I take off at 3600-4000 off the trans brake and shift at 6400 cross the traps at 6300. I am thinking of porting the heads and adding a roller cam. Should I port the heads or just get a new set? They seem to have treated me real good so I hate to get rid of them, I think they still have more in them, I think they only flow 254 @.500 and .600

The heads have ample material for porting. Should give you a nice boost. I would guess an easy couple of tenths and about 45 HP with the same cam. Call me for a qoute (317) 241-3432

It's all hand porting right now. In the process of buying a CNC, but it costs more than most houses.

All right got the 379ci motor together 3.50 stroke 6.0 rods 10cc dome pistons. It has a 680/630 solid roller cam with the heads I posted.. It ran after some tuning so far a best 60' of 1.259 on a 6.42 Run at 104MPH the best ET is a 6.31@105.7 but I didn't get a 60' reading because earlier in the night someone took the markers out bent the brackets all up so they couldn't fix them until the next day.. This is in my 2800Lb S10 all motor running Torco 110 Racing Fuel. The converter goes to 5600 if I unplug the 2-step. What do you think?..
