Im wondering what a good intake choice would be for my motor. The basics of it are -11.1:1 350 -Brodix RR200 2.055/1.6 valves W CNC chambers -750 Mighty demon -296/302 258/264@.050 .562/.562 lift on a 108 installed straight up -1.5 Crower enduro rockers -1 7/8" primary tube super comp headers 3.5" collector {i know they too big but i have to run them for now.
I have an old Team G with the cast 2" spacer on it right now and ive been told several times im giving up alot of power with that intake. So is this true? Would i be better off with a Victor Jr? Super vic? Motown? Any help is useful, thanks

how heavy a car? what gearing and tires? what stall is the converter? what tranny? The cam screams super vic....but the compression and heads sound like rpm air gap or vic jr

-73' Nova 3260 lbs in street trim w/o driver. -Richmond 5 speed. -3.89 gears. -Coupleing the 1.24 4th gear and the 3.89 rear gear it acts like a 4.86
-I shift at around 7,000 and pull through the traps @ 6,600 -Yesterday the car went 12.20 @ 116 with a miserable 1.85 60' -Its gone a best of 11.88@114 with a 1.67 60' but that was winding it up and side stepping the clutch....and i broke the rear end on the next pass so no more side stepping.

I'd say a ported Victor JR. Then try some spacers, I'd do an open with a tapered 4-hole on top. I think the big headers are hurtin your et/mph, there just isnt much mid range power, I'd like to see some 1 5/8" or 1 3/4" (with long primaries). Whats the exhaust from the headers back?

If youre talking about pipes I run an open exaust at the track but on the street its 50 series flowmasters and some 3" pipe dumped before the rear end. If your talking collectors i have 3 1/2" collectors and theyre short. I know the headers arent helping but they have to stay for a future project unless i could find some cheap, used, good 1 3/4" super comps. I should ask though, Is the team G killing me? Ive heard that from ALOT of people. I can get my hands on a vic jr pretty easily and at a great price.

How long is the collector on the header and are you using extensions, if not you should be IMO.
