;D I just bought a 402 with 399...290 casting. It is shipping to me this week. It looks to be standard. Upon looking at hp #s it says it makes between 300 & 330 hp with the heads it comes with. What would i need to do to get it up to 425-450 horses? I'm a disabeled vet on a very limited income and could use any advice you have to offer. I was thinking of having the heads ported olished, headers,forged pistons midrange cam... Thanks all..
