My engine has developed a knock..Took off the vavle covers and ran it..it doesnt seem to be valvetrain.IT only makes noise when its hot.
Im expecting a rod loose..ideas
At worst I probably need a rebuild..Assuming that my rods are OK.Can I just get a 4.25 crank and pistons and stroke the 454?
I have a 5445 casting 454 and 781 heads..ITs a daily summer thats built for reliabilty..(didnt work this time..lol)..A lot of people said that clearancing is usually not necessary.I dont need to use cap bolts do I?
