Mike, On my N/A 440" sbc, i have 15.1 now, my engine builder is an old school guy, just wondering how much compression is to much, i'd like to be around 16.2, with the new pistons i'm ordering but not sure. Thanks. John Newman.

Going that high on a small chambered small block is really pushing it. I would only use C-25 pro stock fuel in it. It will be very timing sensitive. Most big NA motors drop from the 16's to the 15's in the heat of summer. It keeps them out of detonation.
