Thanks in advance for any replies.
Building a 454 .030 over. Using factory 781 oval port heads. Planning for a Stage stage II or III port job and larger 2.19/1.88 valves wiht Mike.
I have head a multitude of guesses on the cc of these heads but most common answer and from my research have found them to be 118.9cc. I bought a set of TRW L2349F .030 pistons. All my work is done and ready for assembly the short block and send the heads out, but wanted to double check myself that:
#1 I will have good piston to valve clearance ( assuming block not decked and heads not milled, and standard fel pro gasket thickness I think is .039".
#2 want to know what my compression ration will be.
I would calculate it myself but cant for the life of me find anyone or any site that can give me piston dimensions of dome.
So my cam specs are hydraulic falt tappet: Adv dur 276/284; dur @ .050 233/241; lift .544/.572; LSA 110.
Any answers of info including maybe direction to someone who can help me out here would be great.
Thanks,
Scott
