Just trying to go faster. My li TA went 11.53/118.2 on a 150shot of spray thi summer. It weighs 3650lbs and has a 383. CAM is a Hyd.roller 229/234, .560/.570lift, 112LSA, RPM AIRGAP, 10.6 comp, TFS G1 stk heads. Super comp headers w/ full 4" single exhaust. 3.73gears, 28" tall tires and a 3200stall ACC converter. The car is a cruiser with a fair amount of strip time and I don;t care waht it runs on motor-only. Just bought a good set of Afr220 CNC'S HEADS. Plan on sedning them to Mike for freshen-up. 1. Am I wrong in swapping these onto my 383? 2. These have 76cc chambers. Should I have them milled to raise the comp. back up? Want to run pumpgas on the street. 3. What cam change should make to take advantage of these? I'm thinking of a NX288HR grind(234/248, 555/570lift,113LSA). I'd like to continue with a Hyd.roller. 4. Making a change to a Vic Jr. manifold and increasing to a 200 or 250shot. 5. BTW I'm willing to make a converter change. Can I get this pig into the mid-10"s? Or am I dreaming?

You're on the right track to getting the thing into the mid tens. I think you can do it pretty easy on spray. The bigger heads and cam will make a nice difference. I would cut the heads to keep compression up. Everything else looks pretty good.
