Trying to figure out about how much compression i'm running? 505ci. BBC. Bore/4.350, Stroke/4.25, Piston SRP with a 18cc dome, The block has .030 from top of piston to top of block, Heads are 119cc.

I really don't want to cut my heads there brand new. What would i gain if i 0.00 deck my block?

Zero decking it would prob bump it to 10or10.25

actually the comp ratio is probably a little less than 9.78-1. You lose some from the distance from the top ring to the top of the piston. The dome CC's are not that acurate either. Also the dish of the head of the valve and the margin play into it to.
