Are there any problems using these rings in a motor that will see quite a bit of street time? Do they wear any faster than standard plasma moly rings? I'm considering using them in my motor, but don't want to give up ring seal life if I don't have to. Thanks for any replies.

Chris- I use these rings very very often, street and track with no issues. Yes, they do tend to wear the cylinder a bit more due to the top ring being a Hardened Manganese, and heat treated. I use them mainly for high cylinder pressure applications, with nitrous or high compression pump gas engines. If your application sees alot more street time then track, or has no nitrous, possibly maybe a little, and low compression, then a normal moly ring would be fine. I don't see any ring seal going away over time, if anything it tends to wear the bore out a bit sooner then the standard moly ring, but who's to say how many miles you will get out of each? A bad hone job can kill rings real fast..
