Hey mike, I need a set of heads. I have chevy nova 3100lbs, 406 13.5:1 comp(trw L2477f .145 dome, 1.430CH) ,lunati solid roller .640 int .645 exh- 276 284 @.050 lobe sep. 114(part #50140x) ,turbo 350 trans w/brk, 4200 stall, 4.30 gear, 29x11.50 DOT, HOOKER SUPER COMP 1 3/4" PRI, 3" SEC(I also have a set of lemons headers 2" pri 3.5" sec) The heads I have now are 292 GM 2.055 int 1.60exh, BIG intake & exh ports(as some people say "hogged out", and a cheap no name single plane intake. The fastest the car as ran is 11.23 @ 114mph on motor. It feels like it hits a brick wall after the 1/8mile. The conv. stalls at 5500 on the brake, but its suppose to be a 4200. I know I need to fix the conv. Can you get me an estimate on a set of heads w/rockers, and a intake. I would like to be in the mid 6's, Is this possible with this cam and your heads?

Sounds like you need a set of Dart 215's with a little port majic. You can get into a set of heads, rockers, and intake for $2700. That's fully ported aluminum Dart 215 heads, Stage 2 intake porting with a Super Vic. and a set of Harland Sharp roller rockers. You should see some times in the 6.70 range at around 100 mph or so. That's 10.70's at 124+ in the 1/4. This should be a good ballpark estimate of what you will see improvement wise.

Should I use the lemons or hooker headers?

I would go ahead and use the bigger tube header. You probably don't need it, but it's not going to kill you either. Use collector extensions or a good exhaust system to build the mid range back up.
