i have a set of oval port 781 bbc heads how good will they flow with a good port and polish job just something good for the street and maybe dragstrip to see what it will run

The typical street/strip deal just gets a bowl port and gasket match. The heads flow 300/220 with the bigger 2.190" / 1.880" valves and this amount of work. That will support over 600 HP on a race engine and 550 on a decent street deal.
