My question is. Which cylinder head/ manifold would be the best choice for my new engine combo . I was going to build a 598cui tall deck BBC,15:1 comp, big roller etc, single carb with spread port heads.Looking to make 1150 to 1200 hp to suit a 3400 car with a powerglide trans. The dart 11 deg are to expensive to set up. Any IDEAS? Cheers Andrew

Any spread port head will be big bucks. I would look to the Big Duke stuff or maybe the Pro-1 Big Chiefs for affordability. The profiler 12 degree heads will make huge power, but at a hefty price.

If you don't mind me asking, how much are you looking to spend?

Thanks for the replys The cylinder heads i have been looking at are. BRODIX PBKC 1201 or PB 2005. DART 14 deg oval port. PROFILER 184 series. CFE cylinder heads? As for budget i dont mind spending $10,000 on a complete set of heads if thats what i need to make 1150 to 1200 "UNCORRECTED !! HP".
