can anyone tell me exactly what needs to be done for the pushrods to clear the intake port. i have jesel .550 offset rockers and .180 offset lifters.i also have a raised cam block. i was trying to get my pushrod length when i ran into this problem. all help will be greatly appreciated. thanks again

Sounds like your going to have to clearance the heads. Probably have to pull them off the motor and use and mill or a grinder to give the pushrods some room.

It's common. I've even had to clearance 23 degree stuff before. It's all part of building a custom engine. Try putting a set of Big Chiefs on an 11.625" block and having to clearance everything with an 11.5" pushrod  |
