The 357 is super nice. Just be ready to wait. Took me 4 months to get a bare set of small blocks from AFR on my last order. Don't rule out a Dart Pro-1 345 ported or the 355 CNC.

A racer here bit on the new Musi Edelbrocks on top of a 565 cu. in. motor. He paid 18K for a turnkey motor with the assurance from Musi it would make 1000 H.P. on the motor and run off from everything here locally. Well it's up and running in a 3480 lb., '69 Camaro and while it's no dog they still have a long way to go. Initial runs have gotten him no more than mid pack performances and one '67 El Camino is much faster but also about 40 lbs. lighter. This guy bought Musi's bull hook, line and sinker. The worst part is he had a chance to buy a 593" double bad engine for six thousand dollars less money. There are several new heads just now coming out into the marketplace so hold off buying for a little while. Ask Darin Morgan about the new "Dart Oval Port" before you make a decision also. It comes in two sizes (330 & 383) and will outpower all the standard 24 degree heads by a sizable margin.
