Just trying to decide here... I've got an out-of-the-box stock set of 325cc Dart Pro I heads presently on my 540. Looking for more power...aren't we all! Anyhow, I can't decide on whether to spend the money and have these one year old Darts fully ported (by Mike, of course) or purchase a new set of AFR 335 CNC ported heads. Any suggestions??

well lets see, it looks like you have more money then you can burn so just buy a set of big dukes or something. that will give you more power. and if you have any $$$ left i will give you my address and you can send me the rest

Thanks, Harold. Please keep me posted of your results with the 357s. I called Dart and they've told me the 325 Pro I are "cast ported" and there isn't too much more to be gained by a full port job. That pretty much made up my mind. I ordered the AFR 335s today.

Sounds like Dart is shootin its self in the foot, by lettin the taco bell drive thu reject answer its tech like... A friend has a set of AFR 335s sittin at home waitin to go in his 68 chevelle (533BB), but I dont think the car is gonna be on the road or track any time soon, or I'd post the results here and let you know. But I do have to say the intake ports look really good - Tony did a good job designing them, I think its the best BBC int. port shape I've seen. I'd love to here some results from people runnin the new AFR BBC heads, just dont know anyone that has run them yet. Keep us posted guys...

I got the same responce from Dart on my Pro-1 small block heads, but I had Mike port them with the stage 4 job and picked up a bunch. Started with a 4.35 and went 4.14. No other changes! 406

Don't let Dart fool ya. There's plenty left in your 325's. They will bust 400 cfm pretty easy. Call me and I can go into detail with you.

Really Mike! I wish I would have heard this from you sooner...I've now got the AFR's on order. The Darts will now be spares. Email me a contact number and I'll have you "clean" them up anyhow. Thanks!
