I'm looking for a recommendation on a set of heads for a BBC that will give me the best bang for the buck on my '69 Chevelle street/strip car. I mainly race at local stuff and test and tunes so it isn't an all out race car but am wanting to run good. Car ran 10.60s @ 129 with stockish 461 and basically stock 241 oval ports with big valves and a non intercooled Procharger P600b. After a fuel pump malfuction and melting the pistons I now have a 489 cubic inch short block. The engine is build with flat top pistons for future boost use. My thinking is something along the lines of AFR 305, Canfield 310, Brodix Race Rite, or Dart Pro 1 310s. I want something that will run decent on the motor but not be too much of a restriction when I add boost. I would like to run high 11's on the motor and maybe break into the high 9's with a supercharger. Would also like to keep the RPMs around 6500. Thanks for the help.

If Casnfields were available right now I would say those for sure. They are tooling up at a new foundry though. The Brodix Race Rite would be a good choice. You could keep your intake then. The flow on those is really good for the size. I would keep the heads fairly small. Your on the right track with your thinking.
