If a titan pump is not in the budget what would be the next best thing for a sbc race application? Thanks

I really don't see any problems with the M55HV. I use them in alot of small blocks with no issues. Titan is nice, but usually out of most guy's budgets. Never had a problem with the M55HV. Hope this helps.

If your heart is set on a billet pump....
The Moroso piece is pretty decent. I'm with Joe though. The standard Melling stuff is hard to beat for the money.

I agree, the Moroso piece is a nice one, and doesn't require a modified oil pan for clearance like the Titan. Problem is they don't make the Moroso billet oil pump for small blocks just yet, big block only. Stick with the Melling stuff.
