I was wondering what type of power gain the 335 cnc head made compared to the 325's on a 555 bbc. The 325 heads I have now have the super mod porting done. I considered the 355 head but the car is 3700lbs, not sure if that head is too big.
Let me know your thoughts

I think the extra flow would be a big help. The heads is pretty close in size as long as the converter and gearing are right for the combo. You should see another 20 to 30 HP or so.

Thanks, Mike. Would you suggest the 355 or the 335 on this car? It's a 4.10 gear 3700 lb 10" tire Nova, 4500 stall, occasional nitrous. .775 lift roller.

I think the 355 would work, but the 335 will probably make more usable power for you. With the heavy car it won't hurt to have a little more midrange power.
